Perhaps ASPE is the organization for you! Read on and call today for a membership application. A History of DedicationThe American Society of Professional Estimators began in 1956. What started with fewer than 20 members in the Los Angeles area can boast today of thousands of members in chapters from border to border. ASPE was created with dedication and commitment to the idea of providing its members with tangible benefits:
Membership ClassificationsESTIMATOR - Each Estimator shall be qualified to practice as an estimator in one or more of the construction estimating disciplines with at least five years of experience. The Estimator shall have all the rights and privileges of the Society. ASSOCIATE ESTIMATOR - Each Associate Estimator shall be qualified to practice as an estimator in one or more of the construction estimating disciplines with cumulative experience of less than five years. The Associate Estimator shall have all the rights and privileges of the Society. AFFILIATE - Each Affiliate Member shall be employed in a construction related field. An Affiliate Member shall have all the rights and privileges of the Society, except the Affiliate Member shall not hold office in the National Society and shall not be eligible to vote. CONSTRUCTOR - A Constructor shall be an active construction professional experienced in one or more of the construction disciplines with at least five (5) years of experience. The Constructor shall have all the rights and privileges of the Society. ASSOCIATE CONSTRUCTOR - An Associate Constructor shall be an active construction professional experienced in one or more of the construction disciplines with less than five (5) years of experience. The Associate Constructor shall have all the rights and privileges of the Society. The Dues for the above classifications are as follows:
STUDENT - Each Student Member shall be a full time student actively pursuing a curriculum leading to a degree or certificate in a construction related field. The Student shall not hold office in the Society and shall not be eligible to vote. The Dues for the Student classification are as follows:
